मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य वन्यजीव बोर्ड की बैठक में दी वन संपदा को रोजगार से जोड़ने की सलाह
देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरुवार को सचिवालय में उत्तराखंड राज्य वन्यजीव बोर्ड की 21वीं बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए वन विभाग को निर्देश दिए कि वनों के संरक्षण के साथ-साथ वन संपदा को आमजन की आजीविका से जोड़ने के ठोस प्रयास किए जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि ईकोलॉजी और इकोनॉमी में संतुलन बनाते हुए आगामी 10 वर्षों के लिए विस्तृत कार्ययोजना तैयार की जाए और वन क्षेत्रों के आसपास ईको-टूरिज्म की गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा दिया जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने मानव-वन्यजीव संघर्ष की घटनाओं में त्वरित मुआवजा वितरण सुनिश्चित करने हेतु डिजिटल ट्रैकिंग सिस्टम लागू करने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही, हल्द्वानी में जू एंड सफारी के निर्माण कार्य में तेजी, वन विश्राम गृहों का पर्यटक सुविधाओं के अनुसार रख-रखाव और चौरासी कुटिया के जीर्णोद्धार कार्यों को प्राथमिकता देने को कहा।
उन्होंने नवाचार पर बल देते हुए कहा कि वन संपदाओं को प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था से जोड़ा जाए और इसके लिए वन विभाग व वित्त विभाग की समन्वित बैठक आयोजित की जाए। महासीर मछली के संरक्षण हेतु भी विशेष प्रयास किए जाने के निर्देश दिए।
बैठक में संरक्षित क्षेत्रों व उनकी 10 किमी परिधि में आने वाली वन भूमि हस्तांतरण एवं अन्य विषयों पर कुल 25 प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दी गई, जिन्हें राष्ट्रीय वन्यजीव बोर्ड को भेजा जाएगा। साथ ही श्री रूद्रनाथ यात्रा मार्ग को ईडीसी के माध्यम से संचालित करने एवं केदारनाथ वन्यजीव प्रभाग में मिनी ट्रांजिट ट्रीटमेंट सेंटर की स्थापना को सैद्धांतिक स्वीकृति दी गई।
बैठक में बताया गया कि पिछले तीन वर्षों में 75,000 से अधिक बंदरों का बंध्याकरण किया गया है और इस वर्ष 27 वन प्रभागों में 40,000 बंदरों के बंध्याकरण का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। वर्ष 2024-25 में मानव-वन्यजीव संघर्ष के मामलों में 19.55 करोड़ रुपये का मुआवजा वितरित किया गया है। इसके अलावा चार नए ईको-टूरिज्म ज़ोन प्रारंभ किए गए हैं।
वन मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड जैव विविधता की दृष्टि से अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण राज्य है, और वन संपदाओं के समुचित उपयोग को लोगों की आजीविका से जोड़ने के प्रयासों को और गति देने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने नए पर्यटन डेस्टिनेशन विकसित करने पर भी जोर दिया।
बैठक में विधायक बंशीधर भगत, दीवान सिंह बिष्ट, प्रमुख सचिव वन आर. के. सुधांशु, पुलिस महानिदेशक दीपम सेठ, प्रमुख वन संरक्षक डॉ. धनंजय मोहन, प्रमुख वन संरक्षक (वन्यजीव) आर. के. मिश्रा, सचिव बी.वी.आर.सी. पुरूषोत्तम, नीरज खैरवाल सहित संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
