देहरादून। चारधाम यात्रा मार्ग पर कूड़ा हटाने के लिए प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (पीसीबी) राशि देगा। इसको लेकर मुख्य सचिव ने पीसीबी को निर्देश दिए हैं। इससे खासकर वन विभाग को सुविधा होगी, जिसके आरक्षित वन क्षेत्र में कूड़ा जमा है, लेकिन उसके पास सफाई के लिए कोई मद नहीं है। चारधाम यात्रा मार्ग में तैयारियों को लेकर सरकारी विभाग जुटे हैं।
एनएच समेत अन्य विभाग जहां पर मार्ग खराब है, उनको दुरुस्त करने में जुटे हैं। मुख्य सचिव की अध्यक्षता में हाल में बैठक हुई थी, इसमें तैयारियों के संबंध में जानकारी मांगी गई थी। बैठक में चारधाम मार्ग पर कूड़े की सफाई का मुद्दा भी आया था, इसके लिए मुख्य सचिव ने पीसीबी को बजट देने को कहा है।
पीसीबी के अधिकारियों के अनुसार नगर निगम, नगर पालिका के पास तो बजट होता है, अन्य के पास तकनीकी अड़चन होती है। ऐसे में वन विभाग, नगर पंचायत आदि को कूड़ा हटाने के लिए राशि दी जा सकेगी, जिससे वे कूड़ा हटा सकें।
पीसीबी के सदस्य सचिव डॉ. पराग मधुकर धकाते कहते हैं कि वनों में कूड़े की समस्या बढ़ी है, यह कूड़ा वन्यजीवों को भी नुकसान पहुंचा सकता है। इसके अलावा जंगल की आग की दृष्टिगत भी ठीक नहीं है। पर वन विभाग के पास कूड़ा हटाने के लिए कोई मद नहीं होता है। अब संबंधित विभागों को कूड़ा हटाने का के लिए राशि दी जा सकेगी, इस संबंध में मुख्य सचिव ने निर्देश दिए हैं।
